It hit me last night.
I was lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, the room pitch black, when a light in my brain clicked, revealing (part of) the answer to a question I’ve been wrestling with.
I finally took ownership of something I’ve heard countless times but have failed to absorb or comprehend. I woke up this morning, debating if it was a dream or reality, but decided to make it reality, make it a part of me. Something changed.
It’s funny how people speak truth to us over and over, but until we take ownership, until it becomes ours and we understand, it eludes us. These moments of clarity amidst waves of confusion make all the difference in the world.
