beauty is everywhere

There is so much beauty I've witnessed in the past four weeks, it's difficult to absorb it all, and easy to take for granted.

The four-hour hike through the five cities built on rock of the Cinque Terre National Park, Italy, overlooking steep cliffs and the sea. Sitting alone at midnight, watching the moon fade, listening to the waves crash and shift the pebbles on the beach. Walking through the French Rivera in Nice, absorbing the city lights and the tropical atmosphere.

At the same time, beauty is everywhere (though in different forms), and there is something about home...
